If you ever travel to historic downtown
Fredericksburg, Virginia, a must stop would be Brock's Riverside Grill. Located
next to the railroad bridge and train station over the Rappahannock River in the
center of the historic district, you can enjoy the view from the main dining
room or during the warmer months sit on their spacious outdoor deck.
Their menu features a delicious selection of
steaks, ribs, seafood and salads. The 14oz
 Black
Angus Marinated Ribeye is very popular for it's flavor and tenderness and
is topped with an ancho-chili mustard. They also serve a delicious Filet, New
York Strip and of course, Prime Rib. The Old Town Salad features grilled
marinated chicken tossed in mixed greens with sun dried tomatoes, red peppers,
walnuts, roma tomatoes, gorganzola cheese, carrots, croutons and granny-smith
apples in their very own balsamic vinaigrette. All of Brock's salads are very
large with plenty for sharing.
There are a variety of pasta dishes available
with the most popular being the Seafood Carbonara featuring lobster, shrimp and
scallops with a champagne sauce served over fettuccini! Other notable entrees
include their Citrus Chicken, Glazed Salmon and Blackened Chicken Alfredo.
Everyday they feature a seafood special and a special entree and soup of the
day. Occasionally Tuna Tartar is offered as a special appetizer and proves very
popular. For starters, try their Mini Crab Cakes which, although relatively
small, are packed with lot's of the best crab meat available. The Crab And
Artichoke Dip and Italian Bruschetta are delicious too. For lunch or dinner try
the Riverside Burger featuring only the highest quality Black Angus Beef or a
variety of outstanding sandwiches such as the Tuscan Pizzadilla and the Crab
Cake Sandwich!
