Alaskan Amber
Brewer: Alaskan Brewing Company |
Style: Altbier |

This "Alt" style ale is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe used by a gold rush era brewery. According to their website www.alaskanbeer.com, this beer was originally fermented in mine tunnels to maintain the cold, constant temperature needed for "Alt" beers. The beer is a rich, deeply amber colored beer with a nice creamy head and a smooth finish. |
